Patient:I suppose I might have. I had no idea it could be a problem.

Dentist: It is a prevalent issue. I propose using a soft-bristled toothbrush and toothpaste formulated for sensitive teeth. Also, brush gently.

Patient: Will that solve the problem?

Dentist: It should improve sensitivity, but we will also use a fluoride treatment today to reinforce the enamel. I would like to make a follow-up consultation to evaluate if there has been any improvement.

5.Planning for a department function

Class monitor: All well, good morning! This year's department function is being planned by us, as you all know. Some concepts need to be generated. Is everyone in agreement here?

Student1 : Hey there! Choosing a theme should be our first step, in my opinion. Why not have a cultural festival?

Class Monitor: What a brilliant plan! Our varied customs may be on display at a cultural festival. Am I missing anything?

Student 1: What about the budget,

Student 2 (S2) :  Keeping costs down is of the utmost importance.

CM: Sure thing! I will bring up the budget with the professors and get right back to you. At the same time, how about we consider what kinds of events we may incorporate?

Student 3: Would you be up for a talent show? It would be exciting to uncover the latent abilities within our division!

CM: What a wonderful idea for a talent show! Poems, dances, and songs can all have their own sections. We should organize a group to deal with registrations.

Student 1: Once we settle on the details, I can create the invites and posters.

CM: That would be really helpful, so thank you. In addition, we are in need of someone to help set up the venue and decorate.

Student 2: I would be happy to help with the decorating! Would the photography club be interested in covering the event?

CM: Impressive reasoning! I will contact them. Let us think about the dining plans as well. Who wants to be on the food committee?

Student 3: Sure, I would be happy to lend a hand. A variety of munchies, including perhaps a dish that represents our department, would be great.

Class Monitor :Just right! Next week, we can review the progress we have made on our tasks. To make this event a success, remember that teamwork is vital. Many thanks to all!

6.Discussing offers in advertisements

Jones : Salutations Jordan How many advertisements these days feature special offers?

Joyal: It is like every single commercial is yelling sales and discounts at us.

Jones: True, yet do not you suppose they function? In fact, a good "buy one get one free" deal tempts me.

Joyal: They draw notice for sure, but occasionally I worry if they are too good to be true.

Jones : That raises valid concerns. It is, nevertheless, a fast approach to increase sales from a commercial standpoint.

Joyal: Increase sales obviously. What, though, is the product's worth? Discounts all the time could make consumers doubt its quality.

Jones: Not that I had considered. All the same, time is more important to me. When something is really needed, I love to locate a fantastic offer.

Joyal : What counts is timing. Exclusion as well! Offers available to members alone, for example, give me the impression that I belong to a unique club.

Jones: Indeed, and that is astute advertising. Loyalty is increased by it. But do all of the offerings available ever overwhelm you?

Joyal: Without a question. It resembles overflow of information. I simply ignore them sometimes.

Jones:Adverts must, I suppose, make their offer stand out without coming across as frantic or overbearing.

Joyal: Just so. There is a thin line between drawing in and irritating possible clients.

Jones: Talking about deals, I received a code for that new pizza joint. Want to give it a shot?

Joyal: I am unable to turn down such offer! Take off.

S: I do! I am looking for something dependable, not too fancy, and with high fuel efficiency.

F: A wise choice. What does your budget look like?

S: I have roughly ₹1 lakh saved, but I was hoping you could help with a little more.

F: That is a reasonable amount. I can equal your funds, but it comes with responsibilities. You will take care of the insurance and upkeep.

S: Absolutely, I understand. I have previously done some research on insurance costs.

Rohan: That is normal. Remember, the key is to be confident and prepared. Have you looked into the companies you apply to?

Aryan: I have, however I am not sure if it is sufficient. What more could I do?

Parent: Okay, I get it. That worries me. I did not think Johnny had this much trouble with math, but he has in the past.

Teacher: Yes, we should deal with this problem right away. I want to set up some extra help meetings for Johnny and make a plan with you to help him get better.

Parent: Wow, that sounds great. Anything that will help Johnny succeed is fine with me.

Parent: Good to hear that. Linda has always worked hard in school, and it is great to see that her hard work is paying off. What do you think we should do to help her learn even more?

Teacher: I think Linda should keep taking part in class discussions and do some extra tasks to improve her skills. These will push her and help her learn new things. Also, think about some things she can do outside of school that are related to her interests. This will help her improve her skills even more.

Parent: It seems like a good idea. For Linda, I will definitely look into some enrichment programs and activities outside of school. Could you suggest anything else we could do to help her learn?

Arun: How appropriate for our setting! I am Arun, by the way.

Sam: I am Sam. Nice to meet you. Do you travel for job or pleasure?

Arun: A little of both. I am going to a conference, but I also want to visit the sites. And you?

Sam: I am visiting family. It has been a while since I have seen them.

Arun: That is nice. It is critical to maintain communication with family.

Sam: Absolutely. So, what do you do?

Arun: I am a software engineer. I design mobile applications.

Sam: Interesting! I am a teacher. I teach history in a high school.

Arun: History has always been my favorite subject. It is like its own form of time travel.

Sam: Well said. I usually remind my students that history allows us to understand the present and shape the future.

Arun: I could not agree more. Regarding the future, do you believe our investigator will solve the case in your book?

Sam: I believe they will, but the voyage itself is the finest part.

Arun: Is not it just like life? The journey is as important as the destination.

Sam: Exactly. It was lovely talking with you, Arun.

Arun: Likewise, Sam. Enjoy the remainder of your book and your trip.

Sam: Thank you, and best of luck with your conference.
