      The story 'The Lady, or the Tiger?' takes place in an unspecified ancient nation, where the King has created a unique method of enforcing the law. Instead of going through a traditional judicial trial, alleged perpetrators are obligated to participate in a gladiatorial arena, reminiscent of ancient Rome, where they engage in combat in front of all the inhabitants of the kingdom. Afterwards, they are confronted with the dilemma of selecting between two entrances. The monarch has selected an exceptional woman to be his fitting companion. A ferocious tiger is positioned behind the other. If he chooses the woman, he is considered innocent of the crime and immediately marries her. If he chooses the tiger...one may foresee the inevitable occurrences.
    In the opening of our narrative, the princess has acquired amorous sentiments towards a young man who is a member of the king's court but belongs to a lower social stratum. The suitor is considered unfit for marriage with the princess, and his efforts to woo her are seen as a serious offense against the king. Consequently, he is sentenced to the punishment often known as the "lady and the tiger". Driven by his unwavering dedication, the king thoroughly explores every corner of the realm in order to find the most formidable tiger. Nevertheless, to attain equilibrium, he moreover chooses the most exquisite woman in the realm for the second entrance.
    Currently, the princess is facing a dilemma in this position. She is reluctant to see her beloved lover being viciously assaulted by a tiger, but she is also not eager about the idea of him marrying this alluring woman.
